Happy Easter from Playpants

theaeggs.jpgEveryone has a favorite Easter tradition. I remember waking up on Easter morning to a living room full of Brach’s Bunny Basket Eggs. If you’ve ever eaten these delightful Easter treats, you will likely agree that they really should remain hidden because they taste like soapy wax. Nonetheless, I would fill my basket, fight with my sister and spend the entire day high on sugar. A slightly modified version of this very tradition exists in our house today.

This Easter was all about fun for the kids - Easter egg hunting, egg stealing (guilty), face painting, Peeps, egg colouring (naturally, of course), and a well-deserved break for myself, Anna and Zoe (the latter of whom has a very special "egg" of her own).

I did manage however to find the time to pop into our favorite Squamish destination for urban babies and toddlers Goop & Goob one of the few BC shops that carry the beautiful Ollie and Lime line of nursery essentials from England, and soon-to-be one of our first local retailers. Stay tuned for the official announcement!

This weekend was also about future bloomers – two friends of ours announced that they are pregnant at 42 and 43 years of age. Sometimes it’s the tiniest things that bring us the most happiness.

Happy Easter to you and your little ones from all of us at playpants.
xx Rachel
